Hier liggen ook het recreatiegebied en een aantal bungalows.<\/strong><br \/><strong>Aan de andere kant van deze weg bevinden zich, tussen de dennenbossen, een aantal herkenbare sporen van menselijke activiteiten. <\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong>Er liggen 2 boerencampings. <\/strong><br \/><strong>Hansenhof is een voormalig pluimveebedrijf, nu aspergebedrijf met camping en boerengolfbaan. <\/strong><br \/><strong>Bovenbos is een historische plek waar tijdens de oorlog een boerderij met onderduikerskamp \u2018Vrij Nederland\u2019 lag. Op 17 juli 1943 is dit kamp verraden wat tot een drama leidde. En zijn toen zeven personen gearresteerd, waarvan er uiteindelijk zes door oorlogsgeweld zijn omgekomen. Bij de huidige camping ligt een gedenksteen.<\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong>Muskusven staat bij ouderen bekend als drassig gebied waar in de winter volop geschaatst werd. Dit ven was het laatste overblijfsel uit de periode dat het bosgebied nog heide was..<\/strong><br \/><strong>Toen er in de nabije omgeving een waterwingebied werd gebouwd is het water verdwenen en is het gebiedje in gebruik genomen voor tuinbouw. Een deel daarvan wordt nu beheerd als particulier natuurgebiedje met een grote diversiteit aan planten.<\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong>Het waterwingebied is inmiddels opgeheven. Wel staan er nog bouwwerken uit die tijd met restanten van bijbehorende vloeivijvers. Helaas staat er geen water meer in.<\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong>Tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog lag in dit bosgebied een miltaire schietbaan. Later is die gebruikt als vuilnisstortplaats. In de jaren 60 van de 20<sup>e<\/sup> eeuw is deze voormalige stortplaats, tijdens boomplantdag met schoolkinderen, aangeplant. Deze z.g. \u201cScheetbaan\u201d tekent zich nog steeds af in het landschap door de afwijkende bebossing en andere begroeiing. Ook is de bodem verzakt. <\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong>Het is een rustig gebied met veel vogels, insecten en zoogdieren. Sommige jaren is het opvallend rijk aan paddenstoelen.<\/strong><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53c0aa5 elementor-widget
